The add-on allows you to select (assign) an author for a specific blog post from a list of pre-created authors. Yes, you can create a list of authors who work on your site and assign an author to any article. The author entity is not related to the User entity in the platform paradigm (deleting/blocking a user account will not delete his posts and you will not lose pages and search traffic on them from Google)

The add-on allows you to create  author page on your website with managed SEO, display of author fields and his photo.

Among the available fields are Name, Title, Position, Short description, Full description, Photo of the author and a link to his website / page on social networks.

This page will contain information about the author, a full description of the author and a link to his blog / social network page (if it is filled out in his author profile).

The markup (structured author data) of a page helps Google identify the author of the content and list it in search results.

The add-on automatically adds (fills) a block with navigation through the contents of the post page (headings H1-h6 are used for the structure, which are used in the body of the post).

The add-on adds micro-markup (structured data) for blog pages with the ability to control the type of markup:

1. Do not use; 
2. Article (Article);
3. News (NewsArticle);
4. Blog Post (BlogPosting).

This setting will allow the search engine to better understand the type of your content to display in relevant search results.
