How to work with addons, developed by AlexBranding team

All you need to run our solutions on your website is downloaded and installed AB: Addons Manager (the link to it you will receive in the letter after your purchase)

How to install and work with add-ons from AB:

Attention!!! further sequence of actions depends on which version of the CS-Cart platform you are working with


If you have CS-Cart version:

  1. 4.16+
  2. 4.13+
  3. from 4.12.1 to 4.12.2
  4. 4.11.5 and lower

If you have CS-Cart 4.16.1 and newer version

Let's show needed step by step actions for add-on installation:

  1. Check your mail inbox;
  2. Find a letter with theme Licenses for AlexBranding add-ons, and open it;
  3. From the link in the letter download special service add-on AB: Add-ons Manager;
  4. Install AB: Add-ons Manager (standard for CS-Cart installation: Add-ons -> Downloaded add-ons and in the gearwheel menu select Manual installation), downloaded on previous step;
  5. Go to the page Add-ons -> Downloaded add-ons -> AlexBranding ;
  6. On the page AB: List of available sets/add-ons you will see all available for this domain add-ons;
  7. Click Install button to install add-on. During installation the system will automatically define the latest version compatible with your version of the CS-Cart platform;
  8. Add-on is installed, continue to work with the documentation (configure the add-on and check its functionality).

- for CS-Cart versions 4.13+

Let's show needed step by step actions for add-on installation:

  1. Check your mailbox some time later (usually from 15 minutes to several hours), you will receive a letter with licenses
  2. Find email with the subject "Licenses for AlexBranding addons", open it
  3. Download  AB: Addons Manager by link in letter
  4. Install AB: Addons Manager using standard CS-Cart installation procedure (Add-ons → Manage Add-ons → [+] Upload & install add-on)
  5. Go to the page Add-ons → Manage add-ons → AlexBranding 
  6. On the page AB: List of available sets/add-ons you will see list of add-ons and packages, available for installation on this domain from AB developers
  7. Install all available modules one by one using the button Install next to each module (when installing each module, wait for the end of the installation script and page refreshing with the installation status change)
  8. Check "Help" for addon or "Settings" (some addons after installation require additional steps or settings)
  9. Make sure in a complete module efficiency
  10. Now you can work with addon
